Some dog breeds have more potential to cause some serious injuries to a victim than the other and we call them as dangerous. Based on this fact and dog fatality statistics, we have came up with the list of top 10 most dangerous dog breeds.

Everyone should aware of these dangerous dog breeds. Because in US, every year nearly 670 hospitalizations and 21,000 medical visits are made just to treat the dog bites alone.Also every year around 187,000 people are treated for dog bites non medically.

To make it short, for every 75 seconds once , minimum 1 US citizen is bitten by a dog. You can treat the dog bites. But receiving the bite from the following top 10 most dangerous dogs are really dangerous.  So Beware of these dogs.

According to the research conducted by the Animal people in US and Canada, during the period September 1882 to the end of December 31, 2012, Pit bulls and Rottweiler’s have topped the list by causing more number of dog fatalities and injuries.

For anyone who is familiar with the dog breeds , seeing the American Pitbull in the number one position of ” top 10 most dangerous dogs” will not be a big surprise.  When compare to all other dogs, death rate caused by the Pitpulls are far more higher. Due to its aggressive nature, so many state governments has banned the breeding of Pitpulls.
These dogs are widely known for the illegal sport of dog fighting. So just imagine how dangerous these Pitpulls are. This brave & dauntless cold blooded animal will take on any goody until it dies.

2.Rottweilers
Guess what could occupy the No 2 position in the “top 10 most dangerous list “?  It’s none other than Rottweilers. As an extreme territorial animal, these can guard your home really well.

Although Huskies are considered as one of the most dangerous dogs. As per reports only 15 people have died in the last 20 years. Since these dogs are very energetic, it should be taken for the regular walks. It weigh around 66 lbs and will show their loyalty to the family it belongs to.

German Shepherd is very intelligent and powerful animal which makes them more dangerous too. That’s why it is raised to 3rd position in top ten most dangerous dogs list. These dogs can serve you loyal but when it is not treated well, it will turn into very cruel too.

It can weigh around 100 lbs. It has the same size just like Malamute.
5. Alaskan Malamutes
In our list of list of top 10 most dangerous dogs, Alaskan Malamutes are very intelligent dog breeds. Just like Huskies, these are very energetic. When this energy is not used in some positive ways, it will turn very aggressive. These dogs are very loyal to their masters.

6.Doberman Pinschers

These dogs weights around 200 pounds. Just imagine how much fear it can pose on the opponent. Even if you are a great lover of dogs, sudden appearance of  this dog will make you slightly scare. It should be trained with the adequate level of exercises. When you don’t give an attention it requires, remember, it will start to attack and rebel. If you grow this dog breed in your home, take it to a long walk often

9. Boxer
Although Boxer is listed as one of the top 10 most dangerous dog breeds, by nature these are not so aggressive. Boxer is an intelligent dog. Since this dog breed is a self-wild animal, it’s not very easy to train. Since these dogs stay energetic for the entire day, it should be utilized in some positive ways.

10. Akitas
These are one of the dangerous dog breeds with  bravery , boldness and beauty. It can be turned into less harmful animal quite easily. But you should train them in a proper way.
